How it works

At its most basic level, madlad.tv provides a browser based torrent client.

We provide an in browser streaming torrent client via a library called webtorrent. Using the browser version of webtorrent comes with limitations, specifically a lack of usable peers and limited codec support from browsers themselves.

To work around these limitations, we have created an optional server download and an account system. We use your account only to connect you securely to your server from the outside world.

If you've downloaded the server and connected it to your account, your server will do all of the torrenting (connecting to many more peers), then change the format as needed and stream directly to you over https. The server also supports watching together, so bring a friend!

Oggy and the Cockroaches

Oggy, an anthropomorphic cat, would prefer to spend his days watching television and eating, but is continuously pestered by three roaches: Joey, Marky and Dee Dee. The cockroaches' slapstick mischief ranges from plundering Oggy's refrigerator to hijacking the train he just boarded. In many situations Oggy is also helped by Jack, who is more violent and short-tempered than him and is also annoyed by the cockroaches. Bob, a short-tempered bulldog, also appears in the show, and is Oggy's neighbor.
